Why does FBC support missions?

First Baptist Church considers it an honor and privilege to support our missionaries

Our reason for supporting missionaries and mission agencies is simple. FBC supports missionaries around the world because God commanded us to make disciples of all nations: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned" (Mark 16:15,16).

At FBC we believe that missions is the best way to fulfill our great commission.

"For 'whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!'" (Romans 10:13-15).
