What are the joys/blessings of being a missionary?

Some joys of being a missionary is knowing that Jesus is in control of all circumstances and that He will provide for all the needs of the missionary. The greatest joy for a missionary is knowing that they are obeying what Jesus commanded to all Christians "to make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). There is no greater thrill than knowing that because of what you're doing, people are hearing the Gospel and coming to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
