Missionary Bio:
Jonathan spent most of his early years as a missionary kid in Perugia , Italy . He asked Christ to be his Savior at the age of four through the godly influence of his mother. As a child he experienced both the joys and challenges of living on the mission field, and gave him his deep burden for the lost of Italy and the difficult work of church planting in Italy . Jonathan attended Italian school through high school, and graduated from a linguistics high school where he studied Italian, English, French and German. He also attended the National Conservatory of Music in Perugia where he received a performance and teaching diploma in French horn.
Melodee grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of four. During a trip to Italy in the summer of 2001, God burdened her heart for the Italian people so deceived by sin. Melodee graduated from Cornerstone University with a degree in piano performance, and has done work on a Masters degree in Biblical Counseling.
Jonathan and Melodee began their ministry in Perugia , Italy in 2006. They are working with Jonathan's parents, Fred and Rachel Whitman, in the church they started. They are involved in discipleship and leadership training, evangelism, youth ministry, worship and counseling.
