Dear Prayer Warriors,
I praise the Lord that I was able to preach this past Sunday for the first time in 6 weeks. It was a very special day for us. We celebrated "Reformation Sunday" on the same weekend in Italy when everyone else was celebrating the saints and the dead.
To promote this event all over the city of Perugia we had posters printed and put up which listed the five points of the Reformation: Scriptures alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, Christ alone, and for God's glory alone. I preached on that theme and then showed a presentation that I gave in the States during our last furlough, "How the Church got to where it is". It was well received and there were several people in church who came because of having seen the posters. By the way, the Lord has sent in over a hundred people each Sunday for four of the last five weeks.
This past week we said "Thank you" and "Good-bye" to the fine work crew from Old Dominion Baptist Church (Bristow, VA), our fifth construction crew in a year! We praise the Lord that we now have much of the tile floor laid on the second floor. Our auditorium is nearly full, and we haven't even bought the new chairs for it yet!
Right now our biggest need is for electricians, drywallers, and experts in tile and flooring. Several churches are considering a trip over to help us finish the project in 2010.
 Thank you for your prayers for Daniel and Elizabeth who are still lacking about 25% of their monthly support before they can join us here. We would also appreciate your prayers as we face a shrinking dollar which really impacts the exchange of our support each month.
Thank you for your prayers as we begin our annual Bible calendar distribution. Because of a lack of funds, we could only order half of what we usually give out, so please pray with us that the Lord will lead us in getting them to just the right people.
