Missionary Bio:
Frank was not raised in a Christian home. His father was a closet alcoholic. His mother was saved two weeks before she died. His father was eventually saved but showed no real evidence of Christ in his life. He did however, make sure that Frank attended church and went to a Christian school. It was in fifth grade at that Christian school that Frank was saved. When he was in the eleventh grade, he committed his life to full time service during a youth revival.
Tammy was brought up in a Christian home. Tammy grew up in Canada , where her parents worked at Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta , Canada for 20 years. She was saved in fifth grade after hearing a missionary to Africa speak, but had doubts for many years, and reconfirmed her salvation at the age of 19. In spite of those doubts, she committed her life to full time service at the age of 12. She always had a desire to work with young people.
Frank and Tammy both attended Tennessee Temple which is where they met. Frank had intended on becoming a youth pastor, but became involved with Word of Life while in college. After school, they spent 17 years working with Word of Life at Schroon Lake . For the first 15 of those years they were involved in Bible Club ministry. The last two years Frank was the Latin American representative for WOL.
The Roe's went on staff with ABWE in early 1995.
