Missionary Bio:
Jan was saved at 16 at an evangelistic service in Plainfield , IL . She was called to missionary service while studying at Cedarville College . Jan is a graduate of Cedarville and Central State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education.
Jan first went to Brazil as a single missionary in 1967. Her late husband Ray had already been on the field since 1961. His first wife had died, leaving him with two children. Ray and Jan met on the field and were married in 1969 and served the Lord together in Brazil until he passed away in 2004.
The Reiners were involved in several church plants during their years together in Brazil . After Ray's death, Jan has remained in Brazil and is now helping her son Jeff in his church in Jacuma. They also work with another church plant in Malta , which is five hours away, and are involved in a camp ministry.
