Nature of ministry:
The primary responsibility of his work has always involved communicating with people. He meets with Jewish and Gentiles people to proclaim the truths of Jesus as Messiah, with pastors seeking info about FOI and with colleagues to collaborate on projects. He also seeks to expose believers all over the country to the spiritual needs of the Jewish people. Steve travels around the country hosting FOI banquets, speaking at prophecy conferences and giving Passover demonstrations. As he travels and speaks he tries to provide a Jewish perspective to the hearts and minds of God's people in preaching about His chosen people.

Missionary Bio:
Steve was raised in a Jewish home. His paternal grandmother was born in a tiny village in Poland and came to America as a teenager. His great-grandmother was killed by the Nazis along with several other members of her family. Steve received Jesus Christ as Savior in 1975 and two years later went to Philadelphia College of the Bible. While doing volunteer work for Friends of Israel, he felt the need and burden to tell his own people about the Messiah. He is a graduate of Kent State University and Philadelphia College of the Bible.
Alice was raised in a Christ-centered home and accepted Him as Savior at the age of 8. She had always wanted to serve as a missionary in France , and majored in French in college. God had also given her a special love for Jewish people, and when the opportunity came to work with Friends of Israel, she accepted it. She worked two summers with Jewish people, and then officially came with the mission when she and Steve were married. Alice is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and had two years of Bible at Emmaus Bible College .
Steve served for several years as Director of Jewish Evangelism for the North Central States for Friends of Israel. In March, 1996, he assumed the responsibilities as the North American Missions Director for FOI. Steve's responsibilities include encouraging the workers, bringing on new people, instigating and planning ministries, teaching, and preaching.
