SCORE International is a ministry to expose people to short term missions, and to evangelize, encourage missionaries, and equip participants to do the work of foreign missions. The goal is to produce career missionaries and/or create greater partnerships between local churches in the USA and foreign missionaries. Short term mission trips include sports missions teams, construction crews, dental/medical missions, church youth group trips, home school groups, senior class mission trips, and overseas couples retreats. -top-

Ryan grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and attended First Baptist all his life. He prayed to receive Christ when he was eight and tried to live like a Christian, but when he was 17 and a junior in high school he went through a time of questioning as to what he believed and why he believed it, and was led to the Lord by his Bible teacher. God called him to missions in high school. Ryan attended Word of Life in NY for one year, and then attended WOL in Argentina. He had taken four years of Spanish in high school which enabled him to attend classes taught in Spanish. While there he had ministry experience working with kids. He also worked in churches and on building projects. He saw God preparing him for ministry through this experience. Ryan joined Score in 2001 after completing an internship in the Dominican Republic. Ryan served as a single missionary with Score in the Dominican for several years. His ministry involved translation, a video ministry, and being part of the support staff. Ryan and Megan met at church and were married in February of 2007. Megan grew up in Fayette, Ohio and was saved at age 14. She was called to missions in 2005 while she was on a trip to Costa Rica with SCORE. Ryan and Megan will serve as administrators over Score's hotel in the Dominican Republic, and will oversee visiting teams. They also will be partnering with local churches. They are currently on deputation and hope to leave for the field in 2009.
