Missionary Bio:
Francisco was saved when he was 9 years old in a Good News Club, and he dedicated his life to the Lord at a WOL camp in Chile when he was 14. While attending the WOL Bible Institute in Argentina he participated in the ministry of illustrated evangelism and during this training the Lord place the conviction in his heart that he wanted him to be a pastor.
Francisco interned with his senior pastor in Chile for 2 years, and was ordained as a pastor in 2003. He then served two years as the associate pastor in the same church, where he was Director of Evangelism, Professor of Doctor for the leaders, leader of a ministry for adolescents, and did pastoral counseling and the teaching of the missions conference.
Lisa was raised in a Christian home. Her parents are WOL missionaries and she grew up in Argentina and Venezuela . She was saved when she was not quite 4, and at the age of 8 she dedicated her whole life to Him at a WOL camp campfire. Even at that age she was thinking of being a full-time missionary. She completed the WOL Bible Institute in Argentina , and during her tine there the Lord confirmed her call to missions.
Lisa spent 2 years as a WOL short-term missionary and 5 years as a CEF short-term missionary in Chile . During her CEF ministry she was the local director for Santiago . Her main responsibilities were working with children in evangelism and discipleship and training teachers.
Francisco and Lisa were married on March 29, 2003 . They were accepted as Titus International Missionaries in August of 2007. Titus' mission's statement is "Training Nationals to reach their world for Christ." They are currently on deputation with the goal of returning to Chile in October 2009, where they will have a church planting ministry in La Serena which is located in northern Chile .
During these 2 years the Lord has opened the door for Francisco to do a 2 year Missionary Apprenticeship at First Baptist Church in Elkhart Indiana . Francisco will receive training in pastoral ministry in preparation for missionary service in Chile , while helping the current Spanish Ministry leadership train Latino leadership. Lisa will be involved in discipling the ladies.
